Adam Lewis Gowen, Sr.

Adam Lewis Gowen, Sr., 39, of Lynchburg, Virginia passed away on February 17, 2025.He was the son of the late John and Margie Gowen, and the husband of Shaneika Gowen for 9 years.

Adam was born on November 16, 1985, in Lynchburg, VA. He attended school at Amherst County High School, then pursued his career in masonry at McGann Masonry.

Adam Gowen, Sr. is survived by his children, Adam Gowen, Jr., Jayden Gowen, and Mason Gowen; his sister, Tina Jacques; his nephews, Tommy and Michael Jacques; his aunt and uncle, Joyce (PeeWee) and Eddie Slusser; his aunt, Brenda Shores; his uncle, Roy Vest; and many loving family members in the community.

In addition to his parents, Adam is predeceased by his uncles, Timothy and Billy Vest.
