Agnes C. Vaughan Nash, 83, of Lynchburg died, Thursday, September 8, 2016.
Born Feb. 7, 1933 in Carrol County, Va. Agnes was a daughter of the late Willie Glen Vaughan and the late Mary Isom Vaughan.
She was retired from G.E (Ericsson).
Agnes is survived by her daughters, Debra Nash, of Galax, Sandra Hartman (Keith), of Forest and Vickie Higginbotham (David), of Lynchburg; two sisters, Betty Jo Mabe and Bonnie Hill, both of Galax, six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, and devoted friends Lucille Bayse and Robin Weigand.
Agnes was preceded in death by a grandson, Bobby Hartman, a brother, Carol Vaughan, a sister Lois Wright, and an infant sister Helen Josephine.
A graveside service in honor of Agnes’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 12, 2016 at Lebanon United Methodist Church Cemetery, 4565 New London Road, Forest Va. 24551 with Pastor Marvin Suitt officiating.
