Agnes Chappell Middleton, 81, of Goode passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2018. She was the loving wife of James A. Middleton.
Born December 31, 1936 in Transylvania County, North Carolina she was a daughter of the late Homer and Freddie Hinkle Chappell.
In addition to her husband, Agnes is survived by her son: Mark Timothy Jones, daughter: Taffney A. Mays; sister: Judy Callahan; brother: Sydney Chappell; and four grandchildren.
The family would like to add a special thank you to the owners and staff of Noah’s Landing for giving such loving care to Agnes for the last couple of years, as well as Gentle Shepherd Hospice for the outstanding end of life comfort and care they provided.
Also special friend Vickie Overstreet that spent countless hours being by mom’s side. The family will hold a memorial service in North Carolina
