Albert “Dave” Moore, Jr.
A. David Moore Jr., 63, of Moneta, died Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013, at his home. Born in Harrisonburg on Feb. 4, 1950, he was the son of Albert David Moore and Zelda Spencer Moore. Dave graduated from Turner Ashby High School.
He is survived by two sons, Arron and Chad Moore, and like a son, Dean Webster; two sisters, Pam Tutwiler and Gigi Williams; and niece, Amanda Tutwiler.
Dave loved fishing, music, his hummingbirds and being at Smith Mountain. Friends counted on Dave to know the best fishing spots and what lure to use. He was a great cook in the kitchen or on the grill. He was happiest being at the lake, with friends and with his boys.
