Albert Francis \”Œfrank\” Creasy
Frank entered into heaven at 11:45 PM on Wednesday, July 7, 2010.
Frank was born in Altavista, the son of the late Albert Guston Creasy and Nettie Keesee Creasy. He was retired from Lynchburg Foundry and spent his later years raising tomatoes and working in his yard keeping immaculate hedges.
He was predeceased by his wife, Estelle Andrews Creasy, and one sister, Muriel Creasy Nunn.
His surviving brothers are Carl Gale Creasy of Altavista, Paul Larry Creasy of Grit, and Jerry Cecil Creasy of Seattle, WA; four sisters, Sarah Creasy Pickeral of Madison Heights, Ada Creasy Robinson of Greensboro, NC, Jane Creasy Barbour of Altavista, and Lillie Fae Creasy Dawson of Axton. He is also survived by his longtime love, Jean Turner, who will forever cherish his memory. He is survived by nieces and nephews, Lya P. Blomquist of Myrtle Beach, SC, Tamara Barbour of Altavista, Chuck Barbour of Altavista, Roy L. Robinson of Raleigh, NC, Adrian Robinson of Greensboro, Myra Robinson of Herndon, Barry Creasy of North Carolina, Duane Dawson of North Carolina, and Tony and Zane Dawson of Axton.
Frank will be missed by all his Hardee\"™s friends and wants them to know he will be watching his NASCAR races from heaven.
Visitation will be from 6:00 \"" 8:00 PM on Friday, July 9, 2010, at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg, with funeral services to be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 10, 2010, in the chapel of Tharp Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Mason officiating. Burial will follow in Fort Hill Memorial Park. Visitation at other times will be at Frank\"™s residence, 518 Perrymont Avenue, Lynchburg.
