Albert Stuart Ring

Albert Stuart “Al” Ring, 74, of Lynchburg, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 4, 2017. He was the son of the late Albert J. Ring and Margaret M. Ring of Fries, Va. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Joyce Keesling and two sons, Kevin Stuart Ring and Joel Darren Ring.

Al is survived by his wife of 53 years, Nancy B. Ring, of Lynchburg. He is also survived by two sons, Eric Ring of Lynchburg, and Jason Ring and his wife, Jennifer, of Forest. He loved his six grandchildren: Sarah, Eric II, Justin, Rachel, Eli, and Sam. Also left to cherish his memory are two nephews, Gary and Larry Keesling and their families; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family; his neighbor and friend Betsy Kempf; and many others.

Al liked carpentry, woodworking, welding, old cars, and anything involving the work of a millwright. He loved his God, his family, and his country; and that love was steadfast and never wavered.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the Little Country Church of Turkey Knob in Fries, Va. on Thursday, November 9, 2017.
