Alberta Hall Drumheller, 89, of Lynchburg, died Wednesday, May 23, 2018.
She was the beloved wife of the late Sandidge Lee Drumheller for 29 years. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her daughter Brenda Arthur Arrington; sisters, Jean Bass, Dale Sedleck; and her brother, Murray Hall.
Born December 10, 1928, in Nelson County, she was a daughter of the late Mannie McGill Hall and the late Alma Coleman Hall.
She was employed by the Craddock-Terry Shoe Factory and was a member of Tyreeanna United Methodist Church, former member of Beulah Baptist Church.
Alberta is survived by her granddaughter Angela Arthur; her two great- grandsons, Ian Joaquin-Arthur and Liam Joaquin-Arthur, all of Montclair, Virginia; brothers, Tinsley Hall of Virginia, Leslie Hall and Alan Hall of Florida, and a host of nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Alberta’s life will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, May 26, 2018, at Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg, with the Rev. James Martin officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior. Interment will follow in Fort Hill Memorial Park.
