Aleene Graham Moore, 87, of Lynchburg died Thursday, February 12, 2015.
She was born March 29, 1927.
She was a Sears’s retiree, and was also the past President of the Fort Early Corporation. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi, Fort Hill Woman’s club, and Chesnut Hill United Methodist Church.
Aleene is survived by her son Stan Moore and his wife, Claudia of Forest; Grandchildren, Jennifer Bannister and her husband David of Apex N.C., Kristen Shaddock and her husband, Drew of Forest; and four Great Grandchildren, Liam Bannister, Andrew, Katie, and Parker Shaddock.
A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 12:00 Noon at Tharp Funeral Home Lynchburg with Pastor Keith Vincent officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service in Spring Hill Cemetery.
