Alexis Nichole Stedman-Taylor Williams, 31, of Lynchburg, Va. Went to be with the Lord on January 20, 2021 at Lynchburg General Hospital. She battled juvenile diabetes and an unexplained illness for many years and, although unexpected, she has received her wings.
Alexis was preceded in death by her father Charles Wilbert Taylor, Sr., her grandmother Louise Steadman, and her uncle James Taylor.
Our angel Alexis was born on March 24, 1989 to Charles Wilbert Taylor, Sr. and Pearl Renaye Taylor in, Charlottesville, Va. Alexis is survived by her husband Kaleef Williams of Lynchburg; her mother Pearl Renaye Taylor of Lynchburg; her sister Antionette (David) Cook of Lynchburg, Adrienne (Anthony) Dodson of Chesapeake, Va., and Ayanna Screen of Lynchburg; her brothers Antonio Steadman and Anthony (Rezzley) Steadman-Odhiambo, both of Lynchburg and Charles Taylor and Terry Taylor, both of Goode; As well as a host of other relatives.
She Graduated from E.C. Glass High School and attended Liberty University. She was passionate about helping people less fortunate than herself. She worked in healthcare which she enjoyed very much. Anyone who knew Alexis knew that she was incredibly kindhearted. She had an immense passion for her family and friends, and she was always a source of positivity. She was a foster mom to two wonderful children whom she loved and adored before she took ill. Alexis’ family and friends will miss her more than words can express.
