Alice Kimbley Hicks, 87, of Lynchburg, died Saturday, May 20, 2017.
Born Thursday, February 27, 1930 in Lovettsville, VA, Alice was a daughter of the late Arthur and Sadie Kimbley.
Alice is survived by her children, Delisa A. Hicks and Robert Jordon; two grandchildren, Bryan and Derek Engelke; and a sister, Patsy Halfmann.
In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by one brothers and six sisters.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Friday, May 26, 2017 at Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg. A graveside service will follow at 12:00 PM on Friday, May 26, 2017 at Virginia Memorial Park with Rev. Amanda Hayes-Bowman officiating.
