Alice Miller Jones of Lynchburg, passed away Friday, July 8, 2016 at Lynchburg General Hospital.
Alice was born September 8, 1950 to the late Herman H. and Ruby Dull Miller. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant sister Judy and step-father Jesse E. Phlegar.
Alice is survived by her daughter Wendy Lee McNeil; grandchildren Cory R. McNeil and Jessica Lee Adkins; half-brother Charles Herman Miller (Barbara); Step-sister Patricia Hill (Walker); step-daughter Susan Jones Carter and her father Bobby Jones of Richmond, Va.
Alice retired from J.B. Moore Electrical Contractors, Inc.
A memorial service will be held Saturday July 16, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg, with Pastor David Rowland officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior.
