Alice Nadine Goff Thorne, 56, of Buena Vista, passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2017, at her home.
Born November 17, 1960 in Bedford, she was the daughter of June Campbell Goff and the late William Arthur Goff. She is also preceded in death by her brother: John Edward Goff.
In addition to her mother, Nadine is survived by her son Jessy Coffey; daughter: Fern Coffey Davis; sisters: Lila Beth McKenzie, Katherine Wanell Beavers; brothers: William Earl and Allen Arthur Goff; four grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Nadine loved the outdoors, she enjoyed fishing, working in her flower beds, dirt track racing, but most of all she loved her family.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Tharp Funeral Home in Bedford. The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 at the funeral home, one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Hunting Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
