Allen Wayne Carr, 68, passed away on June 6, 2018, in Lynchburg.
Services will be held at Altavista Memorial Park in Altavista, VA, on Saturday, June 9, 2018, at 10:30 a.m.
He retired from Heiners Bakery and was a member of Gospel Light Baptist Church.
Allen is preceded in death by his father, Ernest Carr; his mother, Helen King Carr; a sister, Linda Carr; and his second wife, Linda Carr.
He is survived by his three children from his first marriage: Mary Ann Klee and her husband, James; William Carr and his wife Deborah; and Julia Morton and her husband John. Allen also had three step children: Scott Kessler, Ashley Temple and her husband Tim, and Jeremy Sligh. In addition, he had multiple grandchildren: Brittani Taylor and her husband, Brody; Brooke and Jakob Nolan; Jade Morton; and Cody Temple. He is also survived by his brother, Ronnie Carr, and his sisters, Penny Karnes, Jean Blankenship, and Sherry Carr.
