Alvin Eugene Ferguson, 63, of Evington, died Friday, May 5, 2017. He was the husband of the late Deborah Good Ferguson.
Alvin was born in Lynchburg, July 28, 1953 a son of the late Clyde Robert Ferguson and Elizabeth Rice Ferguson.
He is survived by his two daughters, Alex Martin and Alexis Martin both of Madison Heights, his siblings: Clyde R. Ferguson, Jr. of Evington, Dewey L. Ferguson and his wife Tracy of Madison Heights, Linda F. Price and her husband James of Lynchburg, and Johnny R. Ferguson of Lynchburg, his two close friends, J.T. Hogan and Bill Moon, and numerous beloved nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to his wife and parents, he preceded in death by one sister Vivian R. Ragland.
The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Guggenheimer Nursing Home and to Centra Hospice.
