Amanda Marie Johnson, 23, of Lynchburg, died on Sunday, April 5, 2015.
She was born on March 29, 1992, in Lynchburg.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her fiancé, Jeremy Smith; her daughter, Kyra Ann Smith; her mother, Victoria Lynn Johnson and her husband, Ray Nichols, Jr.; her father, Joseph Thomas Johnson, Jr.; two siblings, Ashley and Joey Johnson; two step-siblings, Amanda Nichols, and Brandon Nichols and his family; grandparents, Sandra Johnson, Mary McHenry, and Kevin Udell; two aunts, Angela McHenry and her family, and Tina Johnson; her uncle, Ricky McHenry and his wife, Regina and their family; and many other relatives and friends.
A celebration of Amanda’s life will take place on Friday, April 10, 2015, at 7 p.m. at Tharp Funeral Home in Lynchburg with Pastor Stewart Mitchell of In His Hands Ministries officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
