Andrew Turner Skinnell
Andrew Turner Skinnell, 75, of Bedford, died Thursday, March 25, 2010 at Oakwood Manor. He was born in Bedford County on February 13, 1935, son of the late James Teass Skinnell and Neva Davis Skinnell.
His wife was the late Violet Hayden Skinnell. Mr. Skinnell was a retired employee of Gene Montgomery Construction Co and was an orchardist and farmer.
He is survived by three sisters, Betty Ann Skinnell, Martha Lee Skinnell and Shelby Jean Mattox all of Bedford; also several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 29, 2010, at Tharp Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Murphy officiating. Private burial will be at Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery, Forest. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral at the Tharp Chapel.
