Angela L. Bowden

Angela “Angie” Lynette Bowden, 42, of Moneta, passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2020 while surrounded by her loving family. She was the loving daughter of Rodney Wayne Bowden and Deborah Eades Hartzell.

Angie was loved by so many. She was a lover, mother, daughter, sister, friend to so many also a soon to be grandmother. She loved her job as a Pharmacy Lead Tech with Carilion. She enjoyed shopping especially for new shoes, laying by the pool, riding motorcycles, and going to concerts. She also had a love for cardinals. She will be missed dearly.

Angie is survived by her significant other, Jason Whalen; three children, Garrett Lee Andrews, Aereonà Dare Andrews and Lily Michelle Wickham and husband, Stuart; sister, Michelle Bowden Pittman and husband, Scott; half-sister, Jessie Leigh Bowden; nephews, Keifer, Spencer and Ethan Pittman; niece, Olivia Pittman; grandbabies to be, Kayson Sharples and Baby Wickham; three fur babies, Bubbie, Bandit and Alfalfa; very dedicated friends, Brandy Dalton, Mandy Nichols and Josh Shorter. Also surviving are numerous other family and so many friends.

A celebration of Angie’s life will be conducted at 5:00pm on Saturday, January 2, 2020 at her residence. The family asks that anyone who wants to join in fellowship before the service the times will be from 3:00pm to 5:00pm also at the home.
