Angela Marlene Brown, 49, of Evington, VA, died Sunday, August 14, 2016.
Born Tuesday, March 21, 1967 in Lynchburg, Angie was daughter of the late William Ralph Brown Jr. and Glenda Dale Hall.
In addition to her father, Angie was preceded in death by grandparents William R. Brown Sr., Mildred Moore Brown, and Ethel Adkins Hall.
In addition to her mother, Angie is survived by son, William Rhett Brown, of Evington, two grandchildren, Hunter Lee Nash and Carter Daniel Moore, three sisters, Darnell Martin, and her husband, Ryan, of Rustburg, Dina Thacker and her husband, David, of Forest, and Trina Roakes and her husband, Carter, of Rustburg, and her mother’s partner, Mark “Burger” Klein, nieces and nephews, Randi Jackson and her husband Oliver, Jaclyn Staton, Tristan Martin, Gabriel Martin, Grayson Roakes, and Maddox Roakes, and a great niece Ella.
Angie’s spirit was too big to be limited to a chair and the bed she unfortunately ended up in. She was lively and always fun loving, with a very caring nature. Angie was thoughtful, forgiving, and always saw the good in others. Angie was loved by all who knew her.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at Hyland Heights Baptist Church and at other times at the home of Trina Roakes. A celebration of Angie’s life will be conducted at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at Hyland Heights Baptist Church with Rev. Carl Weiser officiating.
The family would like to thank all the caregivers who cared for Angie over the years, especially Mark “Burger” Klein.
