Ann Bedsworth Super Hero dies unexpectedly. Ann Bedsworth of Lynchburg, died unexpectedly at home on Thursday, May 8, 2014, at the age of 83. After moving to Lynchburg in 2009, she hung up her cape and enjoyed her retirement in her new hometown. As the mother of three boys, Michael, Patrick and Jon (deceased), she always put her family’s needs ahead of her own. To her three boys, Mom was a superhero. To her grandchildren, Meredith, Morgan, and Taylor, she was lovingly known simply as “G”. Ann went back to work at the Pentagon once her children were in high school to help pay for their continuing education. Aging may have slowed her down, but she never complained about her own aches and pains. She was an active member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church of Lynchburg. Today she has her wings and continues to look after her family from above. A service will be held to celebrate her life at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church 11 a.m. Monday, June 2, 2014. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made in her name to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
