Ann Mary Daily

Ann Mary Daily passed away on June 30, 2025, in Lynchburg General Hospital after a courageous battle against an infectious blood disease in the stomach. She suffered pain for many years from arthritis. On February 17, 1942, Margaret Juliano gave birth to Ann in Maplewood, NJ. Her Father was George Juliano.

While growing up in Maplewood, Ann enjoyed spending time at the Lavallette Beach with her family and friends.

In her third year of college at Penn State she met Gene Daily and they later married. Ann was a wonderful Mother of three children. When the children were in school, Ann sold World Book Encyclopedias. Once all children were in college, Ann was a social worker for the State of Maryland. When she retired, she enjoyed golfing, making quilts, and traveling on vacations especially in Sunset Beach, NC with the entire family.

Ann is survived by her husband, Gene Daily; son Gregory Daily and wife Sharon; son Dennis Daily and wife Mary; and Karen Reinhardt and husband John. Her grandchildren are Mallory Griffith, Scott Daily, Ellie Daily, Abagail Daily, Caroline Daily, Tyler Reinhardt, Celia Reinhardt, and Quinn Reinhardt. Her great grandsons are Briggs Burch and Reese Griffith.

Ann was a wonderful woman who always had a smile and never complained about her constant pain from arthritis and other sicknesses. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

A memorial service will be held at Tharp Funeral Home 220 Breezewood Drive Lynchburg, VA 24502 at 2 pm Sunday July 13, 2025. Visitation will be one hour prior at the funeral home. Deacon Chris Murphy from Holy Cross Catholic Church will preside over the service.
