Ann T. Daniel, 89, of Moneta, died Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at the Brookdale at Cave Spring.
She was born October 15, 1925 in Richmond, VA, a daughter of the late James Franklin Tedder and Janie Cliborne Tedder.
Ann was a communicant of Trinity Ecumenical Parish and was a retired secretary of Daniel Insurance Company. She loved sewing, flowers, gardening, dancing, and going to Bluegrass festivals. Ann also loved the outdoors, Smith Mountain Lake, and traveling to Florida but most off all, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Whitlow Daniel; and four siblings, Frank N. Tedder, Jean King, James Percy “Pete” Tedder, and Charles W. Tedder. She is survived by two daughters, Betty Jean “BJ” Daniel and Rebecca “Becky” Lindsey and her husband, Robert; four grandchildren, Brittany Lindsey Beheler and her husband, Chad, Hilliary Candler, Mallory Candler, and Daniel Lindsey and his wife, Amanda; one great-grandchild, Charlotte Danielle Beheler; two siblings, Betty Pemberton and Carl Preston Tedder; and numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Graveside services will be conducted at 12 Noon, Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Virginia Memorial Park with Rev. Dr. Gary K. Scheidt officiating.
Tharp Funeral Home, Bedford, is assisting the family.
