Anna Kathleen White

May 29, 1986 — June 30, 2017

Anna was a beautiful young woman. She was born in Lynchburg on May 29, 1986. She died unexpectedly on June 30, 2017.  She left us suddenly, but will be missed forever. She loved her family and her four cats, taking long walks on Blackwater Creek Trail and at Percival’s Island, painting her beautiful nails, all things zombie, and watching VanossGaming on YouTube. She owned her home at 1002 North Grand Avenue in Lynchburg.

She was preceded in death by her Paw and Nannie, Sidney M. White, Sr. and Flossie R. White, and her uncle Sidney White, Jr. (“Marty”).

She is survived by her Mom, Terri S. White; aunts, Joyce R. White of Lynchburg, and Gail W. Conley (George), of Fredericksburg; her uncles, Roger D. White (Nayda) of Lakewood Ranch, Florida and Jeffrey H. White (Jackie), of Madison Heights. She is also survived by her cousins, John (Melissa) and Aaron (Shelly) Conley, Tony Hoeffer of Fredericksburg, and Anjel and Axel White of Madison Heights. She will also be sadly missed by her many coworkers at Stroobants Cardiovascular Center, her many friends, both online and those living nearby, and her four beautiful rescue cats, Gumby, Woogie, Sam and Dean.

A memorial service will be planned later, and a notice will be placed in the newspaper. Donations in memory of Anna should be made to the Lynchburg Humane Society. She loved animals, especially cats and kittens, and she had made several donations of food, money and toys to the Society to help them care for her furry friends.

The family wishes to thank the EMS personnel, the staff of the Emergency Department, the Neurological Intensive Care Unit and the Medical Intensive Care Unit at Lynchburg General Hospital. Special thanks go to Drs. Michael Dunlop, Joseph Khoury, Jeremy Hardison and Edward Bonyak.

Anna, you will be missed so much, Precious One. To Mom and Joyce, you were not only our daughter and niece; you were also our best friend.

Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg, is assisting the family.
