Anna Maxine Phillips

November 3, 1937 — October 16, 2024

Bedford

Anna Maxine Phillips, a beloved matriarch of Bedford, gently passed away at her home on October 16, 2024, at the age of 86. Born on November 3, 1937, Anna was the cherished daughter of the late William Rube Warren and Lucy Willhite Warren. She now joins her parents in eternal peace, along with her beloved husband, Don Ray Phillips, and her precious children, Donnie William Phillips and Arthur Franklin Phillips, II. She was also preceded in death by her dear daughters, Tina Lee Ellis and Tammy Joanne Reiter, and her loving sisters, Barbara Lavona Hull, Pauline Chryssikos, and Margaret Holstein.

Anna was a woman of simple pleasures, finding joy in watching her favorite television shows and immersing herself in the world of books. Her spirit was nurtured by stories and the characters she encountered, which reflected her deep appreciation for life.

Her legacy lives on through her adoring grandchildren—Brandon Reiter, Jim Reiter, Arthur Phillips, along with his wife, Caitlin and Sammy Adams along with his wife, Eme—and her treasured nephews, Shawn Webb, Zachary Webb and his wife, Sydney, and Ryan Webb and his wife, Melissa. The love she shared and the memories she created will forever be cherished by those who knew her.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory in Bedford for their compassionate assistance during this difficult time. Anna’s life, filled with love and joy, will be missed dearly and remembered fondly by all who had the privilege to know her.
