Anna Rhae Coleman Baldwin, age 70, of Bedford, died Tuesday, February 9, 2016.
Anna was born on March 18th, 1945 in Pike County, Kentucky the daughter of the late
Raymond and Mary Lavelle Coleman. Anna was a graduate of Belfry High School in Belfry, Kentucky. Anna worked for Bedford County Public Schools at Liberty High School as a Teacher’s Aide before retiring after 16 years. She enjoyed helping special education students during and after school hours. She was also actively involved in the cheerleading program at Liberty. Anna liked helping with all types of church activities and helping people in need. She was a member of Thomas Road Baptist Church.She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Charles Franklin Baldwin; two daughters, Sheri Lynn Baldwin Brown of Hobart, IN, Rebecca Denise Spinner and her husband Robert Antonio of Lynchburg, VA; three grandsons; Robert Addison, Charles Tyson and Jamison Ray Spinner; sisters; Betty Coleman McNeil of Greer, SC, Cynthia Hildebrant of Sun City Center, FL, and Margaret Ellen Taylor of Bedford, VA; brothers John Thomas Coleman of Woodstock, GA,Raymond Coleman of Williamson, WV, and Gary Bradley Coleman of Sedalia, MO. She has 50 nieces and nephews.A celebration of Anna’s life will be held at Tharp Funeral Chapel on Friday, February 12, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Ray Lyons officiating. Interment will follow in Virginia Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at Tharp Funeral Home Thursday, February 11, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
