Anne Carolyn Hamm Taurus

Anne Carolyn Hamm Taurus, 95, of Cheyenne, Wyoming formerly of Montvale, VA went home to be with the Lord on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2023. She was born December 13, 1928, a daughter of the late Eli and Olie Mae Hamm. Anne was also preceded in death by sister, Billie Jean.

Carolyn graduated from Montvale High School in 1946. She was one of two surviving members of that class. Carolyn attended Radford Collage and was a English teacher for over 50 years.

Those left to cherish her memories are brother, Thomas (Bucky) Hamm and wife Arlene, of Cheyenne, WY, also nephews, nieces, cousins, godchildren, and numerous mentees. There are many who were touched by her love and friendship and many more were impacted by her gift of teaching.

A Graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, February 10, 2024, at Montvale Presbyterian Church Cemetery 1075 Dewey Road, Montvale, VA 24122. Tharp Funeral Home, Bedford is assisting the family. (www.tharpfuneralhome.com)
