Annie Catherine Blankenship
Annie Catherine Blankenship, 79, of Evington died Wednesday January 29, 2014. She was the wife of the late Carl Edward Blankenship.
Catherine was born August 9, 1934 in Huddleston a daughter of the late Joel Nathaniel Woodford and the late Lillie Creasy Woodford. She was a member of MarshMemorialUnitedMethodistChurch.
She is survived by her daughter Ann Phipps of Evington, her granddaughter Katelyn Coghill of Evington and a sister Dorothy Woodford of Huddleston. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by eight brothers.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday February 1, 2014 at Tharp Funeral Home Lynchburg with a graveside service to follow at 1:30 p.m. at SpringHillCemetery.
