Anthony Cecil Wood, 38 of Bedford, died Sunday, October 8, 2017. He was the husband of Jennifer Marie Wood for 17 years.
Anthony was born June 18, 1979 in Lynchburg, the son of Cecil Wood (Debbie Bersch) and Linda Wood (Danny Spradlin). He was a devoted husband and a loving father. Being full of life, Anthony shared his love of cooking, fishing and hunting with family and friends.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his boys: Devin and Aaron Wood, his maternal Ninnie, Lorraine Harris and his devoted friend, Eric Padgett. He is also survived by what he called his second mom, Laura Shafer and his Beloved Cholo.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg. A reception will follow at 323 Kershaw Drive, Rustburg, Va. 24588.
