Anthony (Tony) Davis Leeman, 58, of Forest, died Wednesday, May 31, 2017.
Born Saturday, July 12, 1958 in Greenville, S.C., Tony was a son of the late George Wendel Leeman, Jr. and Frances Lucille Davis Leeman.
In addition to his mother, Tony is survived by his five beautiful children, Steven, Ryan, Michael, Gianna, and Jessica Leeman; the mother of his children, Diane; his brothers Michael, George, Lonnie; his sister, Denise Leeman; his eleven nieces and nephews; two great nieces; and one great nephew.
In addition to his father, Tony was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Leeman.
Tony was a devoted family man. He was a loyal employee of Areva for 29 years. Not only was Tony loyal and devoted to his family and work, he was a kind, caring and giving man to his friends. He was respected and looked up to by many. Tony always took his own path that led to success.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m., Sunday, June 4, 2017 at Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg. A celebration of Tony’s life will follow at 2 PM on Sunday, June 4, 2017 at Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Marvin Suitt officiating. Interment will follow in Virginia Memorial Park.
