It is with great sorrow that the family of Anthony Dwayne Rasnake, 50, of Moneta, VA., announce his departure from this life on Earth on Friday, May 4, 2018. Dwayne was called to be with our Lord in Heaven after being hospitalized for several weeks. His pain and suffering is gone and his body is now at peace.
Dwayne spent his days doing what he loved; spending time in his office making jewelry or beautiful flower arrangements, helping a friend in need, or being with family. He is survived by his parents, Buddy and Wanda; brother, Donnie Rasnake and his wife Cheryl; niece, Tiffany French and her husband Stuart and niece Emily White and her husband Christopher, who will all love and miss him dearly forever.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. for a celebration of Dwayne’s life on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 in the Chapel of Tharp Funeral Home, Bedford.
The family would like to extend thanks to the doctors and nurses at Duke University Hospital for their care of Dwayne during his stay there.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Lung Association: 55 W. Wacker Drive, Suite 1150, Chicago, IL 60601.
