Arlene Joyce Collins Payne

Arlene Joyce Collins Payne, 81, of Roanoke, died Sunday, May 2, 2010 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Born in Roanoke, VA on April 15, 1929, a daughter of the late Wiley Willard Collins and Mabel Marie Woods Collins. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Isaac Edward Payne; one sister Hazel Louise Collins Ayers.



Arlene is survived by one daughter, Linda Anne Payne Woolridge of Bedford; two grandchildren, Isaac Kalen Karnes and his wife, Rachael of Vinton and Isabella Marie Woolridge of Bedford; one sister, Dorothy Marie Collins Allen of Richmond; and numerous nieces and nephews.



Funeral services will be conducted at 11 AM, Thursday, May 6, 2010 at Tharp Funeral Chapel with Rev. Marc Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
