Arnold Richard Glazier
Arnold Richard Glazier, 86, of Lynchburg died Tuesday September 5, 2011. He was the devoted husband of Phyllis M. Glazier.
Arnold was born June 8, 1925 in Leverett, MA a son of the late Perry E. Glazier and Helen Beebe Glazier. Arnold honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II and received the Purple Heart. He then worked as a technician with the University of Massachusetts and was a faithful member of North Leverett Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children: Judy Linstra and husband Ralph of Lynchburg; David Glazier and wife Anne of Leverett, MA; and Jerrie Cummings and husband Chris of Charlotte, NC, two sisters: Betty House of Springfield, MA and Ethel Williams of Leverett, MA, and one brother Lee Glazier of Leverett, MA, five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Leverett, MA.
In lieu of flowers please make memorial donations to the North Leverett Baptist Church.
