Audrey Gray Gregg

Audrey Lee Gray Gregg, 80, of Bedford, died Saturday, January 15, 2011 at Lewis Gale Medical Center in Salem. Born in October 3, 1930 in Bedford, VA, she was the daughter of the late Earl Luck Gray and Lula Anderson Gray. In addition to her parents, Audrey was preceded in death by her brother Earl Luck Gray, Jr. and a step-son James W. Gregg, Jr.

Audrey was a member of Bedford Presbyterian Church where she enjoyed fellowship and activities with the women\"™s group. She had a variety of interests including traveling, bowling, and square dancing.

Audrey is survived by her husband James Wallace Gregg, Sr., children; Kevin Gregg and wife, Heather of Suffolk, Susan Gregg O\"™Malley and husband, Kevin of Salem, and Mary Kathryn Davis and husband, Bob of Thaxton, nine grandchildren; Matthew, Benjamin, Sydney, Alex, Christopher, Ethan, Kaitlyn, Hannah, Caleb, and two special cousins; Julia Wilkinson and Ella Mae Epes.

Memorial contributions may be made to Bedford Presbyterian Church, 105 West Main Street, Bedford VA 24523, or a charity of choice.

The family would like to thank the staff of Eastwood Assisted Living for all their courteous help through a difficult time.

Memorial service will be conducted 11:00 am at Bedford Presbyterian Church, Wednesday January, 19, 2011 with Pastor Bill Honeywell officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Bedford.
