Barbara Jane (Bj) Haskin Nisbet

Jane (Barbara Jane) Nisbet, 75, of Hardy, died Monday, January 19, 2015. She was the loving wife of John F. Nisbet for almost 60 years.
Born July 13, 1939 in Yonkers, New York she was the daughter of the late Harry J. Haskin and Helen Lavelle Haskin. Jane is also preceded in death by her son: John Thomas Nisbet.
In addition to her husband, Jane is survived by three daughters; Janel Gaulard and her husband, Ric, Joanna Nisbet, and Jamie Nisbet.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Halesford Baptist Church with Rev. Melvin Harris officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions to be made in Jane’s name to Halesford Baptist Church building fund, 2485 Lost Mountain Road, Wirtz, VA 24184.
