Barbara L. Harvey
Barbara L. Harvey, age 88, died peacefully in her sleep at Heritage Green Assisted Living on August 11, 2011.
Born April 5, 1923 in Holden, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Christine Stoddard Luey. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Donald; a brother, Robert Luey and a sister Marcia Hakala. She was a member of Holden Congregational church and a retired Holden public school bus driver.
She is survived by a daughter Linda Cheverton and husband David of Madison Heights, Virginia; a son Robert and wife Diane of Holden, Massachusetts; four grandchildren, Michael Harvey and wife Nancy, Kristina Markiewicz and husband Joseph, Timothy Prescott and wife Lisa and Carin Prescott; four great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Her family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Heritage Green Assisted Living for their loving care, to Gentle Shepherd Hospice and to Rev. Dr. Robert Mooty and the visitation team at Timberlake Christian Church for their ministries.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Holden, Massachusetts.
