Barbara Lynn Tuggle Mcgraw

Barbara Lynn Tuggle McGraw, 46, of Rustburg went home to be with Lord suddenly on Saturday, January 22, 2022.

Born on September 29, 1975, in South Boston, Va. she was a daughter of the late Bobby Lee Tuggle and the late Catherine Crews Tuggle. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Eddie and Gracie Crews and Bernice and Mary Tuggle.

Barbara was the wife of Brian McGraw. Along with her husband, she is survived by her aunts Arlene Moore (David) of Forest and Linda Lester of Nathalie, Va.; an uncle Lester Tuggle of Nathalie, Va.; cousins Chuck King (Susan) of Bel Air, Md., Joan Moore (Ken) of Powhatan, Va., Lisa King of Forest, Va., Lee Ashby of Raleigh, N.C., Katina King of Forest, Va., Amanda Steptoe (Michael) of Harrisonburg, Va., Brant Moore (Amanda) of Chester, Va., Katarina King of Norfolk, Va., Allyson Ashby of Raleigh, N.C., and Madison Ashby of Charlotte, N.C.; as well as a very close friend Peggy Lankford (Babe) of Evington, Va.

Barbara was affectionately known as “Rudy”, a nickname her dad gave to her when she was a very young child. She worked for Liberty University for the past 10 years. Prior to that she was secretary and radio DJ for Clearview Baptist Church. Barbara has been married to her husband Brian for the past 5 years and gave selflessly of herself to everyone she loved. Barbara especially loved her 3 fur babies Zoe, Pippa and Bella. She also loved to travel and was an amateur architectural and nature photographer.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Clearview Baptist Church Cemetery at 11 a.m. with Pastor Zane Kramer officiating.
