Barbara Wright Lindsey
Barbara Wright Lindsey, 66, of Lynchburg, died on Wednesday, February 23, 2011. She was the wife of Lawrence S. Lindsey. Barbara was born in Lynchburg on January 24, 1945, a daughter of the late Calvin C. Wright and the late Lois Langford Wright.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, Lawrence Lindsey, Jr. and wife, Penny of Forest and Calvin G. Lindsey of Lynchburg; her daughter, Tabitha Smith and husband, Matt of Forest; six grandchildren; and her three sisters, Patsy, Debbie and Edie.
Barbara was a graduate of Boonsboro High School and a member of Timberlake United Methodist Church. She was a store supervisor for Fisher Auto Parts.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg with Bob Mansfield officiating. Friends and family are invited to visit at the residence. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2316 Atherholt Road, Lynchburg, VA, 24501.
