Barry Arthur Howell, 56, of Lynchburg, died Monday, March 15, 2010.
in Lynchburg General Hospital. He was born March 3, 1954 a son of the late, Arthur Gibbs Howell and Mildred Lacy Howell, who survives. Barry was a retired carpenter and took pride in his work.
In addition to his Mother, Barry is survived by his wife, Bonnie Eldridge Howell. One son, Brett Howell and one daughter, Kristie Shorter; five grandchildren; one sister Karen Mann and husband, Dan; two brothers, Christopher Howell and Tony Howell.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at Patmos United Methodist Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Dr. Carl Douglass officiating.
The family will receive friends after the service at the cemetery.
