Bernice Ellen Sizemore
Bernice Ellen Lambert Sizemore, 81, of Richmond, VA, died Monday, August 30, 2010 at Laurels of University Park Nursing Home. Born May 5, 1929 in Bluefield, WV, she was a daughter of the late Lockard Lambert and Willie Champ Lambert.
Bernice was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses and loved spending time at her Church. She also loved her job as a Librarian at the Bedford Historical Museum.
In addition to her parents, Bernice was preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald Floyd Sizemore.
Bernice is survived by one son, Kenneth Russell Sizemore and wife, Nancy of Richmond, VA; two grandchildren, John Russell Sizemore and Kenneth Matthew Sizemore both of Richmond, VA; two brothers Clyde Lambert and wife, Darlene of Salem, VA and Alfred Lambert and wife, Delores of Gaston, SC.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 823, Lynchburg, VA 24505.
A celebration of Bernice's life will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 4, 2010 at Tharp Funeral Chapel with Elder Bill Moss officiating. Burial will follow in Virginia Memorial Park, Forest, VA. Arrangements by Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Bedford (540) 586-3443.
