Betsy Moses Davidson, 67, of Forest, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 1, 2017.
Born in Lynchburg on May 20, 1949, she was a daughter of the late James Edward Moses, Sr. and the late Betty Ann Tramell Moses.
Betsy is survived by her daughter, Melissa Staggs (Paul); two sisters, Jane Campbell (Melvin), Bonnie Moses Bryant (Barry); brother, James Edward Moses, Jr.; three grandchildren, Jacob Davidson, Hannah Staggs and Madison Staggs; uncles, Clarence Moses and Dickie Moses; numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
She diligently worked as the Manager of Flower’s Baking Co. until she retired. She was a very spirited lady who was also kindhearted and selfless. She loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and always put her family before herself. In her spare time, Betsy enjoyed reading, and drawing.
A memorial service will be held at Tharp Funeral Home’s Lynchburg Chapel at 3 p.m. Thursday, April 6, 2017 with Chaplain Wayne Lanham officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
