Betty Ann Moses, 79, of Lynchburg, VA, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 1, 2011. She was a beautiful and dearly loved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. Born in Scottsburg, VA on July 10, 1932, she was preceded in death by her father and mother, Haywood and Gracie Trammel. She was the loving wife of James Edward Moses for 63 years. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters and one son, respectively: Betsy Davidson, Jane and Melvin Campbell, Bonnie and Barry Bryant, James Edward Moses, Jr., and Debbie Hight. In addition, she is survived by seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, two brothers-in-law, two sisters-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends and family tonight from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Tharp Funeral Home, and other times at 1161 Reynard Run, Forest, VA. A funeral service will be conducted on Friday, November 4, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Tharp Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery. Special thanks to Centra Hospice, Dr. Susan Modsitte, Jana Briedis-Ruiz, and Andrea Bryant.
