Betty Jacqulyn Carroll, 83, of Bedford died Tuesday, April 26, 2016.
Born Friday, June 3, 1932, in Bristol, VA, Betty was daughter of the late T. Perryman and Beatrice Carroll.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas P. Carroll, Jr., and a sister, Kathryn C. Brooks.
Betty is survived by a brother, William M. Carroll and his wife, Sandra, of Lynchburg, a sister-in-law, Helen Jean Carroll, of Portsmouth, VA, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In her earlier years, Betty enjoyed caring for children and senior citizens. Her family remembers her wonderful memory as she was able to recall family events better than anyone else. Betty loved to laugh and had a very happy nature. Betty was a long-time member of Thomas Road Baptist Church. She was loved by all who knew her.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 3, 2016, at Fort Hill Memorial Park with Rev. Dave Heerspink officiating.
