Betty Jane Moore, age 85, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at Bentley Commons in Lynchburg, Va.
Born on February 18, 1932, in Roanoke, Va., she was the daughter of the late George E. and Ella F. Bogert. She was the wife of the late Larry D. Moore. Betty is survived by two daughters, Janice Wells (Jimmy) of Evington, Va. and Diana White (Timothy) of Henderson, NC.
She is also survived by four grandchildren, Michelle Wells, Brandy Gray, McKayla White, and Jesse White and one great-grandchild, Jada Gray.
Betty is also survived by a special brother-in-law, Roger Moore (Elaine) of Grand Prairie, TX.
A graveside funeral service will be conducted by Pastor Bill Evans on Monday, October 23, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Virginia Memorial Park, Forest, Va. The family will receive friends from 3 to 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg.
