Betty Seay Bryant, 74, of Madison Heights went to be with the Lord, Sunday, March 26, 2017. She was the loving wife of Robert A. Bryant for 49 years.
Betty was born June 1, 1942 in Lynchburg, a daughter of the late John Daniel Seay and Evelyn Robertson Seay. Betty was retired as a hairdresser and was an active member of Thomas Road Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, Betty is survived by her two sons, Forrest Dale Bryant and his wife Diane of Elon, and Ashley Daniel Bryant of Madison Heights; one brother, Allen Seay of Forest; four grandchildren; and her special boss, Sylvia Cooper.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. tonight, Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at Tharp Funeral Home, Madison Heights.
A celebration of Betty’s life will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 29, 2017 in Pate Chapel at Thomas Road Baptist Church with Pastor Roy Newman and Pastor Tommy Willis officiating. Interment will follow at Briarwood Memorial Gardens.
Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Madison Heights, is assisting the family.
