Betty Wilkins Baker

Betty Wilkins Baker, 84, of Lynchburg died Saturday, March 1, 2014. She was the daughter of the late Graham Tucker Wilkins and the late Janie Lipscomb Wilkins.

 

Betty was a customer service representative for 35 years and C& P Telephone. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister.

 

Betty is survived by a daughter Donna Carroll and husband Johnny, a son Bryant Baker of Florida: a sister, Carolyn P. Bryant of Lynchburg; eight grandchildren; Noah C. Baker and wife, Jennifer and Hannah Acevedo and husband Andre both of Lynchburg, Beverly, Brandi, A.J., Sam, Nena and June Baker of Florida; two great grandchildren, Ally Acevedo and Brayndon Baker.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Norman Wilkins.

 

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at Tharp Funeral Home Lynchburg with Ray New officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior.
