Billie Agee, 92, passed away March 31, 2021. Born November 29, 1928, Billie was a daughter of the late James M. DeWitt and Katie R. DeWitt.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of fifty years, John Taylor Agee, Jr. (JT); her sisters, Faye Webber and Deane DeWitt; brothers, Thomas DeWitt and Douglas DeWitt; and sons-in-law, Keith Roach and Thomas Fisher.
Survivors include her sons, John Agee, III (Kim) and Michael Agee; daughters Sharon Szydlowski (Leo), Laura Roach and Rebecca Fisher. Also surviving are her sisters Joyce Thacker and Mary DeWitt; fourteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Billie was an avid gardener and enjoyed her many years as a member of Poplar Forest Garden Club. She attended Boonsboro Methodist Church. Billie had an adventurous spirit and one of her great pleasures was traveling with JT to the many 101st Airborne reunions and connecting with old friends. Billie will be remembered for her kind and gentle spirit and as a beloved member of the Agee family.
A celebration of Billie’s life is being planned for a future date.
