Billie Jo Hess, 51, of Bedford passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2018. Billie Jo was born April 3, 1967 and was the wife to Clarence Hess for over 19 years.
Billie Jo was preceded in death by her mother, Judith Jackson, her father, William Ross, and her sister, Bobbie Jo Ross.
In addition to her husband, Billie Jo is survived by her children: Christina Price, Sherry Thompson, Jessica Ross, Sarah Hess, Banner Hess and wife Michie, Emily Hess, grandchildren, Della, Harvey and Gene, brothers William “Bumper” Ross and wife Teacia Ross, Robert “Bobby” Ross and wife Elizabeth “Lely”, and many nieces and nephews.
Billie Jo was a loving wife and mother. She loved playing card games with family and watching television. Some of her favorite shows were Futurama and The Simpsons. She loved spending quality time with her family and dogs. She had an open-door policy and welcomed anyone who needed a place to call home. Billie Jo truly loved working at Forks Country Restaurant. She made many close friends, that became extended family.
A Celebration of Billie Jo’s life will be held at Tharp Funeral Home: 320 North Bridge St. Bedford VA, 24523 on Friday, December 28th, 2018 at 2:00 PM.
