Bonnie Gay Clark, 61, of Forest, passed on Saturday, May 21, 2016, at Lynchburg General Hospital.
Born July 24, 1954, in Norfolk, Va. she was a daughter of the late Wiley Grayson Clark and the late Nancy Elder Clark. Being a motivated individual, Bonnie earned a bachelor’s degree from Virginia Wesleyan College in 1981. She worked for the Virginia Beach Police Department until she retired and then moving to Lynchburg, where many of her loving family members and friends reside. She was a member of Timberlake United Methodist Church.
Left to cherish Bonnie’s memory are her aunts, Sterling Tuggle and husband, Rufus, of Lynchburg, Joyce Crawley of Lynchburg, Mary Caroline Elder of Lynchburg, Katherine Spradlin of Lynchburg, Betty St. John of Phoenix; uncle, Curwood Clark of Long Island, her beloved dog, Emma; and beloved cat, Kit.

The family will receive friends from 12 noon until 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg. A graveside service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Fort Hill Memorial Park.
