Boyd Clinton Back

Boyd Clinton Back, 75, of Lynchburg, Virginia, suddenly passed away on Saturday, May 31 of 2025. He was the son of the late William McKinley Back and Ruby Helmick.

He was fondly and lovingly referred by Matthew Word, Rena King and Carolyn Rodgers as “King BB”. He made his wishes known in a regal manner but was reciprocal with his smiles and gestures. King BB was survived by staff of Initial Homecare Services LLC, Favored Services LLC Day Support and Cabaniss Homes.

Boyd is survived by sisters, Betty Lesley and Ann Harris as well as host of niece and nephews. In addition to his parents, Boyd is preceded in death by his brothers Benny Back and Bobby Back, sisters Billie June McLaine and Bonne Lee Wilkes.

Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg is assisting the family.
