Brad Wayne Bragg

Brad W. Bragg, 66, of Bedford, VA passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2025. He was born on April 13, 1959, in Huntington, WV to the late Archie Bragg and Lorraine Bragg. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Linda Mathews and Kathy Jones.

Brad worked at Lowes Home Improvement in Garner/Clayton, NC for 29 years. Retiring to Bedford, Virginia to enjoy and relax on the porch of their forever log home. He was an avid reader of history and thrillers, always collecting for his library. He was a Saints and Cincinnati Reds fan.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie; children, Timothy Hobson (Crissy) of Clayton, NC, Danielle Herndon (Phillip) of Durham, NC, Matthew Bragg (Alexis) of Jacksonville, NC, Nicole Cribbs (Keenan) of Benson, NC; six grandchildren who he loved spoiling, Gunnar, Layla, Conrad Bragg, Paisley and Carter Cribbs and Aidan Hobson and one sister, Peggy Noel (Jim).

Memorial Contributions in Brad’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, July 10, 2025 at Hope Front Church, Clayton, NC.

An additional service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 14, 2025, at Tharp Funeral Home, Bedford.
