Brenda Dale Brown

Silently, so silently Brenda McDaniel Brown slipped away in peaceful rest on Saturday October 21,2023.

She was born on April 8, 1960, The daughter of the late Jesse L. Rucker and Mary A. Rucker Jordan.

In addition to her parents Brenda was preceded in her transition by One sister Wanda Rucker, One niece LaNitra Rucker.

She was baptized at an early age and joined the Rising Sun Baptist Church, Monroe Va., she graduated from Amherst County High School. She worked at Elliot Dry Cleaners for over 30 years. She was currently an employee of Walmart in Madison Heights Va.,where everyone remembers her by her smile.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter Vondetta McDaniel (Jesse Calloway) One Granddaughter Jessie Calloway.

Two daughters that she did not birth, Alexis King and Buddasia Betrand. One sister Carolyn Burford (Ray Burford Sr.) Two nephews Ray Burford Jr. and Rafael Burford

A host of other relatives and friends. Devoted friends, Sharon Wayne Thomas, Sister-in-law Kathy Brown Rose, Lolita Winston, Louis Davis. Special cousins George and Bernice Kent and Diane Hopkins. Her God-Daughters Cynthia Thomas and DaNai Basnight.

Brenda Loved her family. Friends and all the people she encountered  no one was a stranger. She was a comforter in times of trouble, A nurse in times of sickness. She loved the great outdoors and her love for plants and flowers, she loved her flower gardens. She loved cooking and fellowshipping, Playing Spades and Bid Whist.

A Celebration of Life will be held on November 11, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Tharp Funeral Home Madison Heights, Va.
